coffee.
The breakfast was well served &
beautiful, we didn't need to eat until tea-time.

This was my first visit to Stranraer
and after my partners firm booking our accommodation, I did not know
what to expect for one night.
My first impression was 'what a
beautiful building', inside it was a mixture of 'Location, Location,
Location' and on further inspection 'Grand Designs'.
The hotel is complete for guests to
enjoy, welcome from hosts, friendly & warm, food fabulous.
I wish you well in this venture and
will return with a trip to Ireland on my next visit.

After misinterpreting the
directions, arrived to a very warm welcome, good parking (if a bit bumpy
& uneven), lovely room, pristine, beautiful bathroom and no shortage of
anything. It seemed nothing was too much trouble.
Lovely freshly cooked breakfast.
Only grumble (and we had to search for one) is the bed has supports
underneath and so has made mattress like a small mound and so not a very
good nights sleep. However this can soon be rectified and would stay
here again.
Overall, very comfortable, well
presented and thought out and welcoming stop.
Thank you. |

A unique establishment with a
fascinating history. The sincere kindness, consideration and service
extended to our weary party was much appreciated.
The accommodations are spacious,
spotless and tasteful.
By applying the B&B concept to an
unconventional setting, the personable proprietors have created a
refreshing experience. Will not hesitate to return or to recommend to
others visiting this lovely part of Scotland, so conveniently located to
the Irish ferries.
All the best.

Your accommodation is excellent but
for a couple of things in your bathroom - could do with a stool to sit

gowns etc, otherwise excellent. |

makes all the difference - demonstrates real empathy for the weary
traveller!). Thanks loads. |

Wow! This is the nicest B&B we've
stayed in for quite some time. We wished we could stay longer.
I stay in around 80 B&B's, guest
houses or hotels each year, and it's really unfortunate that you come to
expect mediocre service and quality. You guys have got it just right - I
honestly think that this is one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed in.
Very comfortable, a wonderful welcome, a great laid-back attitude and
very reasonable prices.
Do you fancy opening more places in

Woke up to a beautiful view at the

the staff are incredibly warm & welcoming, the rooms extremely

Once again, a lovely welcome from two warm

the facilities needed for a wheelchair to move around with ease.
Our large delicious evening meal and
breakfast were served in the flat, and are great value for money.

The first time I haven't stayed in a
big-chain hotel, and what a pleasant difference,
'human' service, combined with an ideal
location for access to the ferry terminal - and the most peaceful
night's sleep I've had in a long while.
Thank you. |

Having been a 'self-caterer' for more years
than I care to remember (more than 60), I have experienced many changes
and enhanced standards but I can honestly say that none have bettered
the Rhins of Galloway.
The number of things that are normally
subject to an extra charge but are included in the basic price and the
thoughtful little extras make a stay here exceptionally pleasing and
comfortable. |

An absolute delight. Good friendly service,

'so-called' first class hotels. |

Mr & Mrs A&J Richardson, Sunderland |
First impression of walking into the
building was the friendly owner who was there to greet us on arrival. He
showed both my husband & myself around the communal areas and the
"developing bar room" is very impressive. Our room was clean and was
cleanly decorated to give a fresh and "airy" feeling. Bed was very
comfortable. It had all the hallmarks of a 3 star hotel. Well done! |

shower curtain (for the bath) would be nice, after showering your new
carpet is very wet. |

If you are in the area as a tourist, on business or catching the ferry,
this is definitely the place to stay. The location is excellent, and the
accommodation spacious, allowing guests to 'wander around'. I loved the
subtle decor, fabulous bathrooms, stylish lounge and a few nice antiques
placed around. Our host gave us such a warm welcome, we felt we had just
arrived as a dinner guest! The function room is being renovated and will
be great. This is definitely going to be the place to stay - watch this
space and book early! Many thanks. |

I would like to thank you for my stay
on the 24th February, It was way better than I had expected, I had a
great nights sleep which is not something I can normally say when I
am staying away. Breakfast was excellent especially the vegetarian
option, I can honestly say it was the best vegetarian brekkie I have
ever eaten out. The rooms were really clean and very comfortable.
Keep up the good work.
